Pallet Grade
Grade A used pallets cost more than Grade B or C because they require less sorting and are suitable for more demanding applications. The grade reflects the condition and remaining lifespan.
Size & Dimensions
Standard GMA 48x40 pallets are the most cost-effective due to high availability. Non-standard sizes may cost more because they require sourcing from specific suppliers or custom manufacturing.
Order Quantity
Larger orders qualify for volume discounts. A 500-pallet order will have a significantly lower per-unit cost than a 20-pallet order. Our bulk pricing tiers are designed to reward larger commitments.
Wood Species
Hardwood pallets (oak, maple) are typically stronger and last longer than softwood (pine, spruce). Hardwood used pallets command a slight premium due to their superior durability and load capacity.
Treatment & Certification
Heat-treated (HT) or ISPM-15 certified pallets carry a premium because they are required for international shipping. If your pallets do not leave the country, standard used pallets save you money.
Delivery Distance
Deliveries within our Zone 1 (Raleigh Metro) are free on qualifying orders. Longer distances and smaller orders may include a nominal delivery fee that is always disclosed upfront.

Determine Your Pallet Size
Measure the products or containers you need to stack. The standard GMA 48x40 pallet fits most standard racking and is the most affordable used pallet option. If you are not sure what size you need, tell us your product dimensions and we will recommend the right pallet.
Choose a Grade
Grade A is best for retail-facing or export applications. Grade B is the sweet spot for most warehousing and internal logistics. Grade C is perfect when appearance does not matter and cost savings are the priority. When in doubt, Grade B offers the best balance of quality and value.
Estimate Quantity
Count how many pallet positions you have in your warehouse or how many shipments you send per week. If you are storing 100 SKUs on pallets, you need at least 100 pallets plus a buffer for in-transit and staging areas. We recommend ordering 10-15% more than your count to cover damage and rotation.
Consider Special Requirements
Do your pallets need to be heat-treated for international shipping? Are they going into a food-grade facility that requires certain cleanliness standards? Do you need four-way or two-way entry? Let us know any special requirements upfront and we will match the right product.

For most applications, yes. Our Grade A and Grade B used pallets retain their full structural integrity and load-bearing capacity. A standard GMA 48x40 used pallet can still safely hold 2,500 pounds of static load and 2,000 pounds of dynamic load. We inspect every pallet and only sell those that meet our strength standards. The only difference is cosmetic — a few scuff marks or minor staining that do not affect performance.
It depends on your application. Grade A is recommended for retail display, export shipping, automated warehouse systems, and pharmaceutical or food-grade environments. Grade B is ideal for general warehousing, internal logistics, manufacturing, and standard shipping. Grade C is best for one-way shipments, construction, temporary storage, and applications where cost savings outweigh cosmetic appearance. If you are unsure, our team can recommend the right grade based on your specific use case.
There is no minimum order. You can purchase as few as one used pallet. However, our pricing is designed to reward larger orders. Orders of 51 or more pallets qualify for volume discounts, and orders of 50+ pallets within Zone 1 qualify for free delivery. For very small quantities (under 10), customer pickup from our Raleigh facility is the most cost-effective option.
Absolutely. Many of our clients order a mix of grades for different applications — Grade A for their shipping dock and Grade C for internal warehouse use, for example. We can fulfill mixed orders of any combination of grades and sizes. The volume discount is calculated on the total number of pallets in the order, regardless of the mix.
We stand behind the quality of every used pallet we sell. If you receive pallets that do not match the grade you ordered or that have undisclosed damage, we will replace them at no cost. We ask that any quality concerns be reported within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve them quickly. Our goal is 100% satisfaction on every order.
